The Presbyterian United Church of Christ invites you to join us for worship, study and fellowship.

The Presbyterian United Church of Christ was formed on October 23, 1966 when two congregations, the First Presbyterian Church and the St. John’s United Church of Christ joined together to worship. We are governed by Presbyterian polity. Wherever you are in your spiritual journey there is a place for you at Presbyterian United Church of Christ.

  • Each week we offer a full range of opportunities for worship.
  • Bible Study and fellowship are offered for all ages.
  • Children’s Chapel is offered September through May after the children’s time in the worship service.
  • Chancel Choir meets Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m., September through May.

Persons may enter into active church membership by profession of faith, reaffirmation of faith in Jesus Christ or transfer of certificate from another church. A faithful member accepts Christ’s call to be involved responsibly in the ministry of the church. Periodically a class is offered to acquaint people with the church. Please call the church office for more information.

In the Bible we are given many images of God, yet perhaps a favorite is that of Shepherd. While we aren't as familiar with the role of a shepherd as those generations who have gone before us were, it still reaches us. We can still imagine the important relationship of the shepherd to the sheep. In our society, where independence is so highly lifted up, it may be easy for us to lose sight of our need for a shepherd... that is, until we find ourselves lost and afraid, in danger, or just plain weary of all the responsibilities we seem to carry each day. Perhaps it is time for you to reconnect with The Shepherd. Tomorrow would be a great time to begin by joining us for worship at 10 a.m. at the Red Brick Church on the Hill! Come and discover for the first time, or rediscover, the great love and compassion of our God! You are always welcome here! ... See MoreSee Less

What are your plans for this morning? How about doing something that is truly good for your soul? We would love to have you join us for worship! Today would be a great day to come as there will be a lot of enthusiasm and joy with our VBS children singing, a video showing the highlights of our awesome week with these kids, and representatives from our mission project, Josh's Ride here to share about this project. Our children will then present their gifts that will more than provide for one bicycle for a child with special needs in our community! Pastor Jan will share a meditation on Luke 6: 1-13 about the Power to Serve. Hope to see you at the Red Brick Church on the Hill at 10 a.m.! Know that you are always welcome here! ...
